This product is a weed killer and lawn fertilizer that controls over 50 listed lawn weeds, including clover, dandelion, plantain, morningglory, chicory, eveningprimrose, and purslane. Additionally, it delivers the nutrients needed to help your lawn recover from summer damage and build strong roots to withstand harsh winter conditions.

To achieve the best results, apply Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Weed & Feed3 on a calm day when weeds are actively growing and temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is moist from dew or sprinkling, as this helps the particles adhere to the weed leaves. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 1/2, and for Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 6. After application, do not water your lawn for 24 hours.

This lawn care product is suitable for use on Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Centipedegrass, Fescue, Ryegrass, and Zoysiagrass. However, it should not be applied to St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Lippia, Carpetgrass, or Bentgrass.
