Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Lawn Food is a fertilizer specially formulated for Southern lawns, featuring Scotts® All-in-One Particles® that build strong, deep grass roots to protect against heat and drought. This grass fertilizer can be applied to a wet or dry lawn during the growing season, and is safe to use on Southern grass types. A single 14.06 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Lawn Food covers an area of 5,000 sq. ft.

The product's Water Smart formula is completely kid and pet friendly, building a healthier lawn that requires less water. Its fertilizer analysis is 26-2-13, providing a balanced blend of nutrients to promote a greener, thicker, and stronger lawn.

For optimal results, Scotts recommends using a Scotts® spreader to apply the product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ½, and for Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 6. If fast results are desired, lightly water the product in after application; however, watering is not required.

It's important to note that this product should not be applied to warm season grass types within 1 month of the first expected frost. Any unused product should be returned to the original container, and any spillage on the driveway, sidewalk, or street should be swept back onto the lawn.
