From a father-son partnership, Nature's MACE was born in the two-car garage of our home, where we set out to solve a growing problem in our country. After leaving his career in the biochemical industry and with Nicholas just graduating high school, our mission is focused on moving people away from using toxic pest control products and promoting the use of safe and effective natural alternatives. The granular repellents are best for protecting precise areas and for lower-level plant foliage, while the liquids are best for larger areas, blanket spraying, and for protecting taller plants. Why Choose Nature's MACE? Our deer and rabbit repellent is a time-released granular formula that is activated by the soil, so it retains its effectiveness as it decomposes. One application can work for over a month, and it works in all seasons for year-round deer control. It's easy to use, with no mixing or hassle. Our repellent incorporates fear, scent, and taste-based technology to naturally change animal browsing behavior.

Deer are concentrate selectors, which means they eat or "cherry-pick" the most nutrient-rich plant parts that are best tasting. Our repellent protects against deer and rabbit damage to a wide variety of vegetation. Deer leave behind ragged leaves, missing areas, and frequently just stems, and their droppings are like rabbits, shaped in elongated pellet form.

Before you buy, consider that our granular repellents are best for lower-level ground vegetation, while our liquid repellents are best for larger and more widespread areas, and for middle to upper-level plant protection. Utilize both for best results and maximum coverage.

Application Tips: Apply Deer and Rabbit MACE Granular heavily and evenly 18" away from flower beds, landscaped ornamentals, gardens, ground cover, and edibles in danger of animal browsing. You can also sprinkle in between plants. Re-apply every 3 to 4 weeks to maintain control. In areas where deer, rabbit, elk, and moose feeding or browsing is heavier, additional and/or more liberal applications may be required, increasing the barrier to 30" wide.

For larger areas, apply Deer & Rabbit MACE Granular in a 24" wide protective strip/barrier around the protective zone, then apply a 15" wide strip inside the protective zone every 15 feet. The best time to start applying is at the beginning of each growing season, and you can spray less during the winter as there is less foliage, roughly once per month.
